Sharon Kay (Smith) LaMaster

sharonLamasterpicSharon Kay (Smith) LaMaster, 50, of rural Crothersville, passed away at 10:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Hampton Oaks of Scottsburg.

Born August 19, 1963 in Seymour, Indiana, she was the daughter of Bobbie (Daniel) & John Smith Jr. both survive in rural Crothersville.

Sharon worked for Duke Energy at the Galligher Power Plant in New Albany for 27 years.

She was a 1982 Crothersville High School graduate where she participated in volleyball, basketball, and track and after high school she attended Watterson Business College.   Sharon enjoyed league volleyball, camping, and loved being outdoors.

Other survivors include 1 daughter, Natosha (Andy Kidd) LaMaster of Scottsburg, 1 grandson, Trey Spaulding of Scottsburg, 1 niece, Christy (Jason) White of Austin, 1 nephew, Jonathan Smith of Austin, 2 great nieces, Saige White of Austin, Bella Campbell of Seymour, 1 sister, Yvonne (Michael) Stutsman of Jeffersonville, 1 brother, Ricky Lee (Debbie) Smith of Austin.

Brother Billy Joe Deaton will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Adams Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville with burial to follow at New Providence Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 10:00 AM on Saturday both at Adams Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville.

Memorial contributions can be given in memory of Sharon to Jennings County Hospice or American Cancer Society c/o Adams Funeral Home & Crematory, 110 E. Howard St., Crothersville, IN 47229.
